"Literally JUST got my windows tinted here. Had nothing else to do for the day so I sat down for what seemed like all day. Not complaining though because after they brought my car out I was really shocked to see how everything came out. Absolutely love how the tint looks ! So shoutout to the guy who worked on it ( I forgot his name already ) and everyone else smiling at me as they walked past me sitting down on my phone for 8 hours lol. The picture doesn’t do it justice I feel badass now lol. Thank you !"

Window Tinting Laws in New York

Front Windshield:Non-reflective tint above AS-1 line
Front Side Windows:Must allow 70% of light to pass through
Back Side Windows:Must allow 35% of light to pass through
Rear Window:Must allow 35% of light to pass through
New York car window tinting laws require front side and back side windows to have at least 70% VLT (Visible Light Transmission). Rear windows can have any darkness level. Windshield tint is limited to the top 6 inches. Window film reflectivity cannot exceed 30%. New York strictly enforces these regulations with vehicle inspections. How much does car window tinting cost?

The average cost to tint car windows in New York ranges from $225-$500 for a full vehicle. Standard car window tinting prices start around $225-$350, while premium ceramic tints cost $400-$500. Single window installation averages $65-$100. New York City and surrounding areas typically charge 20-30% more than upstate locations. Vehicle size significantly impacts the final cost, with larger vehicles adding $50-$100 to the total.
